In a post on Facebook, Haradinaj said that the so-called "Kosovo remains determined to maintain the friendship with the United States. However, he did not specify whether this relates to the settlement of disputes regarding the tax on Serbian goods. What he pointed out is that their relationship cannot be damaged, not even by the difference in opinions.

- Kosovo remains dedicated to maintaining friendship and is always committed to its strategic ally, the United States. At a regular working meeting with the US ambassador in Prishtina, Filip Kosnet, we discussed intensifying the joint obligations in strengthening Kosovo in all aspects and improving the country's Euro-Atlantic program. The close ties between Kosovo and America cannot be damaged, not even by the difference in opinions - Haradinaj said.

Recall, the United States had previously taken the first steps of sanctioning so-called Kosovo, and the reason was their refusal to abolish the tax on goods from central Serbia.
