Nikola Jokic will play for the team of Giannis Antetokounmpo
Nikola Jokic will play NBA All-Star for the first time in his career. The coaches have chosen him as one of the reserves in the West in the second round, after the top 5 chosen with the votes of the people, journalists, and the players.
Since NBA All-Star match has been changed, and there is no more classical duel between the East and the West, the captains of the divisions are choosing the players. Since LeBron James got the most votes in the West, and Giannis Antetokounmpo in the East, they got the chance to chose the players and to make the team.
LeBron had the right to have the first pick and he chose Kevin Durant as his first pick and Giannis chose Stephen Curry. Janis picked Nikola Jokic in the early phase of the draft, while LeBron had other picks.
