It was no better in the Old City around 7 this morning (426), Mostar (361), while the measuring stations in Vracar and ZelenoBrdoo showed good parameters. However, as the day goes by, the level of pollution is expected to oscillate.

Suspended particles are most commonly aerosols, smoke, pollution or ash.

Polluting particles are created by the active industry, cars, and over 100,000 Belgrade fireplaces, and the fog that still surrounds some parts of the city prevents these harmful substances from dissolving in the air.

These particles can have a great impact on our health, and special care is advised for people with asthma, heart problems or lung diseases.

Since the rise of temperature is expected for tomorrow and during the weekend, and strong wind, the air should be cleaner and even of good quality on Saturday.
