The snow has trapped everybody in Serbia and also neighboring Croatia. Firefighters had an intervention in Vukovar, and they managed to save a life.

They rescued a dog who fell down in the frozen river. One firefighter managed to reach the middle of the river with an air mattress, where the dog was freezing.
Then he managed to get out the frightened animal to dry land and his colleagues helped him reach to the shore.
This touching video was praised on social networks. Everybody greeted the courage and the dedication of firefighters.
The owner of the dog gave a statement for Index.hr.
- She wanted to play with swans in the part of the river Vuka which is called Stara Vuka. However, swans flew away, and she is not flying. Her name is Lea, she has 24 kg, we found her on the street when she was 2 months old. All of that is not important, the point of this story is that these boys rescued her life, even though it is a dog - he said.
