- I want to express my gratitude to the President of Russia for the respect he showed to our country, but more than that, on the agreements we have signed. For us, the gas agreement that is signed is crucial. This is a huge investment, financing between Serbia and Russia will be divided, and we are yet to see to what extent - he said.

After that, the construction of a gas storage facility follows, he said, which is also a big thing for our country, then the implementation of gasification and the construction of gas power plants.

- As far as the army is concerned, we have excellent cooperation with Russia. We previously ordered various armed systems. We expect seven combat helicopters, and when we add those nine that we already bought from the European Union, then it is clear that we will receive weapons more valuable in one year than the past 30 years - said the president of Serbia and stated that the defensive power of Serbia will be significantly stronger than many expected.

The Serbian President especially thanked the citizens of Serbia who came to the Temple yesterday to greet Vladimir Putin.

- When so many people, more than 100,000, gather in one place, and no window is broken... Those people did not really come for me, they came to see Putin! I could never gather so many people. Even if I called them, I would not have managed to get so much of them. They came yesterday to see the Russian president - said Vucic.

APPEAL TO THE PARTNERS OF EU TO INFLUENCE PRISTINA TO WITHDRAW TAXES

The President of Serbia addressed the statements of certain representatives of the temporary Pristina institutions on the fees and allegations that they had "to weaken Serbia and its economy" and said that "it is not for us to show power but to seek solutions".

- I am asking Pristina to abolish the taxes and it is not hard for me to say it - he said and added that he is sending a request and an appeal to EU partners to influence Pristina even more to abolish the taxes, I think it is very important to continue the talks with Albanians.

- I saw that Kadri Veseli know better what Putin told me than myself. I was with him the whole time and I am the only one who received the medal in the last 105 years, and everybody on Balkans know better what he said to me, and I was sitting with him - Vucic said adding that everybody knows better than him.

- But, I didn't hear from Putin that he will recognize independent Kosovo, but if he said that to Veseli, then... And he told me all the opposite yesterday - said Vucic.

- If Pristina doesn't abolish taxes, it is clear that they are leading the politics of blackmail. If that is the case then we have no obstacles to elections - said the president and added ironically that it is "fair to give Haradinaj the chance to take him off the power".

He said that Serbs and Albanians have to agree, not because of the European Union, nor because of Russia, but because of the common future.

- It is important to us that we have a north-south peace axis and we need to understand that Albanians have their own interests and that we should behave as if they don't exist. Nothing will happen if they are chased away over Prokletije. If people don't understand that, we can quickly slide into downfall - said President Vucic.

Responding to questions about the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina, the president said he was not optimistic, because many people in Serbia don't like what he is saying.

- I hope that we will do something about the possible solution, but I am not optimistic - said president Vucic.

ABOUT REPRESENTATIVES OF THE OPPOSITION

- Djilas and Solak didn't sleep last night - noticed Aleksandar Vucic in the answer to the question of the journalists.

- I understand the fact that Djilas and Solak cannot stand that someone can bring in hundreds of thousands of people or more - said Vucic in response to the question of N1 television journalists.

So many people were "brought" by Putin, and everybody wanted to greet him.

- They can't even bring 5.000, even with the abuse of the media, with the lies. To steal from Serbia, to rob it, to take 500 million euros in four years - that they can, they are experts, but to do something positive for their country, they couldn't do that, nor they can now - said Vucic.
