A car exploded in the street of Vojvoda Stepa in Belgrade, and a father of the famous TV reporter Marijana Micic was injured.

It was reported to the police around 13:30 that there has been an explosion and a fire of the "Golf 4" car in the street of Vojvoda Stepa, number 414, and according to the unofficial information, there was an explosive device planted in the car.

- The driver of the car was injured, and the injuries are not serious - they stated from the emergency room.

- It exploded so much, and it burned down in a second it seemed. I ran out when I heard it - a man said whose house was near the explosion.
The firefighters confirmed that they went to the scene.
The entire area is blocked by the police, and the crews of the Ambulance are at the scene. The city bus lines are not going through this area at the moment.
As we unofficially found out, the injured driver is a father of the famous reporter Marijana Micic, the car is her's but it was driven by her father today.
We contacted the reporter who was really upset and she gave us a short answer.
- I am sorry, I am very busy, I can't talk now - she said and she hung up the phone.
