Vucic said to Zagreb: You are still using the communist hoax about Tesla (VIDEO)
The Serbian President dedicated a special part of the press conference to the origin of Nikola Tesla and the suffering of his family
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic held today a press conference in the building of the General Secretariat of the President of the Republic on Andric Venac where he commented on relations between Croatia and Serbia, mentioning Nikola Tesla and the Ustashas.
When he explained that he would do everything he recently said in Backa Palanka, he spoke about the victims in the Second World War.
"I am sorry that someone is angry because I called something pogrom, and for reminding that Nikola Tesla is a Serb. There is no information that he ever said about the Serbian people and Croatian homeland, that is a communist fiction. Tesla family experienced terrible suffering from the Ustasha regime. More than ninety of them were killed. If Tesla remained in Lika at the time, he would have died for sure, just like the rest of his family. I am sorry but those are facts - Vucic said.
Three days after comparing Croatia with the Hitler's Germany, the Serbian president said that he would repeat everything again, and this time even more, especially if he could see a day forward, or more precisely, what has happened during the celebration of the Storm in Croatia on August 5.
- The relations of Croatia and Serbia weren't especially warm, not due to Serbia's decision, but due to the parliamentary ongoing policy against our country and our people. My desire for better relations between Croatia and Serbia remains - said Vucic at the press conference.
- I will not beg and hue and cry against me, they should better look what they did. I spoke in a dignified and peaceful way, not to mention the fascist greetings. I can't say that I was the case in Glina and other Croatian places. We have a request for them. Whenever you want, you are welcome to come to Serbia. If you don't want to, you don't have to. I am not running away from talking with anybody and I am not a coward - he continued.
