A tragedy almost occurred at the celebration of Croatian football players: Domagoj Vida almost died, Subasic saved his life (VIDEO)
Too much relaxation could have cost the Croatian defender his life
Croatian football players have been celebrating the 2nd place at the World Cup in Russia. Zagreb was on fire, and around 100.000 of Croatian fans gathered on the square of Ban Jelacic who wanted to greet their heroes.
The shadow over celebration was cast by the appearance of the extreme nationalist and a supporter of the Ustasha movement, Marko Perkovic, Tompson, whose songs were requested by the football players.
It was obvious that the "Firemen" relaxed with a few "drops" of alcohol, and one of the happiest was Domagoj Vida, who was jumping around on the bus the entire time.
In all of this euphoria, a tragedy could have happened, and all of that was recorded by a fan with a phone. While the football players were singing, they were going through the river of fans on the streets, and Vida slipped and started falling from the roof.
However, fortunately for him, the goalkeeper of Croatia Danijel Subasic, was behind him who reacted impulsively and saved his team player from any serious injuries.
