Three stuffed vesalicas, a sausage, and veal, and then going to the court: Djokovic revealed where the real energy comes from!
Djokovic about his elbow injury, expectations on French Open, plans for return on number one place and his diet
The best Serbian tennis player Novak Djokovic returned to great ambitions on French Open, which he won two years ago, before the sharp drop and the elbow injury.
Former world number one of tennis in the comprehensive interview for Novosti revealed how prepared he is for the second Grand Slam of the season.
- I am well. I am preparing. And we will see if I am ready or not at the tournament. I can't predict the future to tell you what will happen. What I feel is gratitude to God, life and my doctoral team, that I am able to play without pain now.
Novak commented on his elbow injury before the start of the tournament.
- I hope that I managed to solve that problem in the long run which tortured me for the past year and a half. It is all pretty fresh. They say that this kind of scar can hurt up to six months. I feel that every day outside of court, but on the court, I have no pains. A little sometimes, but that is all bearable. When I prepare for the matches, it's all good.

For all of those who asked if he still has desires to be the best, Nole had a prepared answer.
- I wouldn't be in professional tennis if I didn't want to be number one and to win great tournaments! I have won 12 Grand Slams in my life, 30 masters and I don't know how many tournaments so far. After all of that, I don't want to come to the tournament just to participate.
One of the main changes is the return of Vajda to Djokovic's team.
- Vajda is my life's companion, more than a coach, someone who is very dear to me. He marked a good deal of my life on the court, and outside of it as well.

- I've seen him more often than my own mother. Marjan knows me very well and he contributes to the mental clarity that I need after all of the things that have happened lately. He is someone who can really guide me in the direction I want to go.
Nole commented in his own, funny way, about the numerous comments regarding his diet. And he gave his statement about meat consumption.
- Well, people are right. You should eat three stuffed vesalicas for breakfast, sausages for lunch, and then conclude everything up with veal before sleep, to keep it light in the stomach, then you are prepared to go to the court.
As he said, there are many, right ways from where you should draw energy.
- The greatest energy can come from head, heart, and soul. I draw the main source of energy from motivation and passion.
- The support of my family is very important, and it would be very hard for me to do this sport and to accomplish everything I did without it. I draw the most energy from the love of the people who are close to me, from happiness and from the joy they give me.
Nole sent a clear message to all the fans in Serbia.
- I love you and I thank you for your support you have given me so far! To all of those who believe in me and who support me in these moments when I don't have top results, they are used to. I can't make any promises, nor I wish to make them, except that I will give my max while they watch me on the court. And the Maker will take care of the results.
