The young Slovenian basketball player is surely the youngest player to win the Eurobasket with a national team and the Euroleague with his club, being the youngest MVP in the competition
Real Madrid's basketball player Luka Doncic (19) was chosen for the most useful player in the Final Four in Belgrade. He is at the age of 19 the youngest winner of this award since this format of the tournament has been established, and that was in 1988. Real won against Fenerbahce 85:80 in Stark Arena and they won their 10th title of the European Champions.
The youngest winners before him were Dino Radja (22), Predrag Danilovic (22) and Toni Kukoc (25).
The Slovenian, the MVP of the entire Euroleague season, participated in winning of the trophy with 15 points, four assists, and four rebounds.
- I have no words to describe this, it is incredible to be the champion of Europe for the second time this season and it is really special for me. We played with our heart, we played with our head and we had b*lls - Doncic said.
