Kosovo will never recognize the independence of Catalonia: Haradinaj for the Spanish media

Kosovo will never recognize Catalonia

Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj persistently reiterates that Kosovo will never recognize the independence of Catalonia and that there is no similarity between them, and that analogy makes no sense.

Two new conditions in just two days from Pristina for Community of Serb Municipalities: Dacic for a radical response

- Kosovo was created when Yugoslavia fell apart and it was a bloody process, which is not the case in Spain where civil and political rights are respected - Haradinaj said in an interview with "El Pais" daily from Madrid.

- Milosevic regime cannot be compared with the laws of Spain. It is not about avoiding similarities, but about not having them - Kosovo prime minister added.

Haradinaj added that he expects from Spain to accept Kosovo as a member of the European Union.

Also, he said that it would be an honor to greet Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy because they would have much to talk about, for example, about cultural or economic cooperation.
