He expressed satisfaction with the "positive attitude" of the Serbian Foreign Ministry towards Liberland.

Serbia reacted with approval from the very beginning, unlike Croatia, said Jedlicka, reports balkaneu.com.

- Croatia sees us as a kind of joke and makes fun of us. It is actually very funny to create a new state, but we are not a joke and we will prove it - Jedlicka told a press conference.

According to his claims, a large number of people sought Liberland citizenship. Encouraged by this fact, Liberian officials have set certain criteria for people to fulfill if they want to get their passport.

They should show that they have not committed any crime, they have to respect other religions and property of other people...

Daniel Dabek, a representative of Liberland in Serbia, said that building a new nation requires the cooperation of all citizens and the support of neighboring countries.

So far, there has been no diplomatic recognition of Liberland by any member of the UN.
