Although this challenge was more of a training, Ivana demonstrated with the 6.93 jump, the best one in this season in the hall, that she is very prepared for the world championship that will start in dozen days in Glasgow.
After the successful indoor goal on Banjica, Ivana shared her impressions for our portal.
- This meeting is of great importance for me because it is held in Belgrade and because it is one of those I attend in Serbia this year. On the other side, it is 10 days before the World championship, and that is why we couldn't prepare for this one. I should experience it as a training and dedicate to technical details, which I did. It was nice that I didn't cross over the jumping line, and I made some quality jumps - our best athlete said.
About the distance she has achieved and the plans for the upcoming period...
- I am pleased, those are some jumps I did in the previous two meetings, so I confirmed my current form and that's it. Now the road to Glasgow to the finals of the Indoor league where I should make only one jump because there will be a different ground than the one in Birmingham.
