Rama for the Joint Foreign and Security Policy of Albania and Kosovo: He also gave a proposal - the election of one President for both countries
He acknowledges that such an idea is now not feasible, but adds that what he dreams of it and it can be realized
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama presented the idea of a common foreign and security policy of Albania and Kosovo, as well as the election of one president.
Haradinaj claims that they reached the demarcation agreement with Montenegro
- Albania and Kosovo will have a common foreign policy, not just joint embassies and diplomatic missions. Why not even one president as a symbol of national unity and a common national security policy - Rama said at the ceremonial session of the Kosovo Assembly on the occasion of the tenth anniversary of the unilateral declaration of independence.
AN INSEPARABLE POLITICAL INTEREST
He acknowledges that such an idea is now not feasible, but adds that what he dreams of it and it can be realized.
Rama said that Kosovo and Albania are now two formally separate administrative realities, but that they are part of a common historical narrative, a unified national feeling, and an inseparable political interest.
He announced the intensification of cooperation between Pristina and Tirana in all areas, as well as the creation of a unique education system.
He also said that Kosovo and Albania will have a single customs system and a common trade and economic market thanks to a successful regional integration process, reports ATA.
In his speech, Rama also referred to relations between Kosovo and Serbia, saying that they should live as two peoples in good neighborly relations and as an inseparable part of the European Union.
