Kosovo Minister of Justice Abelard Tahiri claims in his statement for Reuters that Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj was removed from the wanted list based on the international warrant issued by Serbia.
He said that he was informed on Friday that Interpol removed 18 people from Kosovo from the list wanted by Serbia, claiming that Kosovo Prime Minister is among them.
After the decision, all individuals are free to travel outside of Kosovo without any problems, claims the Kosovo Minister of Justice Abelard Tahiri.
The agency reminded that Haradinaj was arrested at the beginning of the year in France after the warrant issued by Serbia, but he was released after the French court dismissed the Belgrade's request for extradition.
Serbia is asking for Haradinaj because of the war crimes he committed as a former commander of the so-called KLA.
