He said that he understands the man who didn't allow them to enter Aqua park, he was certainly ordered to do so, he was just doing his job
- I had no words to describe to my children why they didn't allow us to the Aqua Park Salida in Prilep, just because we are Romani and we have darker skin - Sefki Kamberovski complained to civilmedia.mk portal, Roma born in Bitola in Macedonia, who has been living in Germany for the past 30 years.
Kamberovski said that he came to vacation in his birth town to show his children where he comes from. However, instead of vacation, nice and pleasant memories, he is disappointed with the discriminatory attitude of employees of Salida Aqua park towards them, so he packed his things and returned with his wife and children of 9 and 12 back to Germany.
- "There is no entry here for your religion!" The security man of the aqua park said that to me. The hardest part was later when my son asked me in the car - dad, what's the difference between the white and a black man? I didn't know what to say. The children were very disappointed for two days, and then, wife and I sat them down and explained in a way they can understand why there are differences between people. We were never in the similar situation in Germany where we had to explain this these things. My children are friends with 170 different nationalities from all around the world, and they don't care if you are white, black, yellow, Muslim, Christian, Jewish, Turk, Russian or Chinese... - said Sefki Kamberovski, the German citizen.
He said that he understands the man who didn't allow them to enter Aqua park, he was certainly ordered to do so, he was just doing his job.
"Although we are far from the cultural values of Europe, I will always come to Bitola, my homeland, hoping that there will be no discrimination against us in the future", Kamberovski says.
Civil media talked with the manager of the Salida Aqua Park, certain Aleksandar. He said that they never had any remarks so far.
- These are pure nonsense and speculation. The door is open to all who come to the aqua park - the manager said briefly.
