Brothers Miodrag and Milos Kraljevic became fathers and uncles: Two sisters-in-law gave birth on the same day!

One gave birth in the morning, the other one in the evening on Sunday

Brothers Miodrag and Milos Kraljevic became fathers and uncles in the same day because their wives Nikolina and Sladjana gave birth in the maternity hospital in Trebinje the same day and brought two healthy babies to this world - a boy and a girl. 

Great news for Serbia: At the beginning of the year 1,100 more births than last year!

Both of these are first-born, but these are not the first children in Kraljevic home. Miodrag and Milos have a brother who already has three children. They hope to get more babies from their sister as well who is going to marry soon.

Even though their dates for giving birth were not the same, sisters-in-law had children on the same day, one in the morning, and the other in the evening on Sunday, so Nikolina was surprised when she saw her sister-in-law in the maternity hospital.

Kraljevic family says that the celebration began when the girl was born and they were informed that Sladjana gave birth as well and brought a healthy son to this world.

- We are happy, there is no end to our happiness - they said for Nezavisne novine.

Nikolina said that she is three times as happy, because besides her becoming a mother and an aunt at the same time, a few days ago her brother's wife gave birth as well.

- This is a really ideal picture, we got two healthy and normal babies, who came with natural birth to this world. The girl weighs 3.950 grams and she is 57 centimeters tall, and the boy is somewhat smaller and lighter with 3.050 grams - said Srdan Lugonja, head of the Trebinje Hospital Gynecology and Obstetrician Department.

The picture is not so ideal when it comes to the number of births in Trebinje, where 220 births were recorded till 22nd August, which is the number as the last year, but the number of births is reducing for several years.
