Three Delije (Red Star supporters), fans of Red Star from Belgrade, were brutally beaten at the train Station in Podgorica, more serious consequences were avoided thanks to the quick intervention of the police

SHOCK! Krasnodar doesn't want to play on Marakana! Russians are asking for urgent UEFA reaction!

They were attacked by a group of fans from Podgorica when they arrived at Podgorica railway station from Bar last night.

The fans planned to go to Belgrade with the majority of fans from Podgorica to attend the game of Europa league between Red Star and Krasnodar.

Preliminary results of the investigation point to the suspicion that a football fan group from Podgorica received a message that fans from Bar will come to the station in Podgorica around 19:00h. As soon as they got out of the train, there was a fight in front of several eyewitnesses who were waiting to board the Podgorica-Belgrade train.

The passengers claim that they all rushed towards the Delije on a command of the masked fan, and they all took out their sticks and baseball bats. Red Star fans managed to repel the attack and to regroup.

However, hooligans managed to get to three young men and to brutally beat them with baseball bats. Members of the police who reacted quickly prevented even more serious incident when they separated the wants, and then arrested multiple people. Injured fans were provided with help in Emergency Center.

Two fans had light injuries, and one fan had serious injuries. Police didn't announce their names because they didn't get their statements yet since they were in the Emergency center.

It was announced from the police to "Dan" that the Basic State Prosecutor will be informed about this and he will come to the decision about the further procedure. The investigation was done by the members of the Security Center Podgorica.

The part of the fans continued their trip to Belgrade, and the majority of fans from Podgorica who ambushed Delije scattered when the police came.

When a group of fans from Podgorica showed up, we thought those were the fans who are going to Belgrade to cheer for Zvezda. They were calm until the train from Bar came and Delije started coming out. Then I realized that the fans we saw at the station don't plan on going to Belgrade, but they waited for those from Bar to have a clash with them. They used sticks, brass knuckles, and more than 20 people were in the terrible scene - said one of the passengers who waited for the train to Belgrade, reports portal CdM.
