The situation with the fires in the territory of the Municipality of Cetinje is still critical, and the extinguishing of the fire, as in the previous days, is aggravated by a strong wind. All fire brigades are on the field, and they try to prevent the fire from spreading to the coast, TV Vijesti reports.
The most critical situation is on Lovcen, and fire threatens to endanger Njegos' Mausoleum, tourist facilities, and the homes of the locals. There is a lot of ammunition left in Lovcen, which causes problems to firefighters since sporadic detonations occur. In addition to members of the Army of Montenegro, Cetinje firefighters are assisted by firefighters from Budva, Bar, Kotor, Podgorica, Danilovgrad, Niksic, Rozaje and Kolasin.
Two firefighting airplanes from the Directorate for Emergency Situations of the Ministry of Interior of Montenegro are also involved in the fire extinguishing. Firefighters are also battling fatigue next to the fire, who have been putting out the fire for a few days now. Medical help has been provided this morning in Cetinje hospital to the commander of the Cetinje Protection and Rescue Service Pedja Mostrokol, who was unconscious.
The Municipal Emergency Situations Headquarters defined urgent measures and activities aimed at localizing the fire in the National Park Lovcen.
The municipal staff assessed that the situation in the Lovcen region is extremely complex and that it is possible for the situation to worsen again during the day, depending on the weather conditions. Fire threatens to endanger Njegos' mausoleum, tourist facilities - Lovcen-Becici resort, Adventure park, bungalows of National Park Lovcen, and local people's homes.
The Municipal headquarters announced that all the resources - human and material resources - were engaged in order to put under control and extinguish fires in the territory of Lovcen in the most efficient way at this time.
Cetinje newspapers report that firefighters from Cetinje and their colleagues from Podgorica, Danilovgrad, Niksic, and Budva are on the field and that firefighters teams from almost all cities from the north of Montenegro headed to Lovcen.

Members of the Protection Service of the Capital and the Army of Montenegro will take care of the safety of the volunteers - according to the announcement of Prijestonica.
