Montenegro will extend sanctions to Russia for another six months, until January 2018, since the decision was made by EU leaders, announced the Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Montenegro joined the sanctions of the EU against Russia in the summer of 2014. Official Moscow soon returned with an embargo on agricultural products from Montenegro, primarily on wine.
