Two young guys from Becej, Ninoslav Trajkovic (23) and Djordje Ilcesin (23), who started the unusual adventure 40 days ago to Mongolia, managed in their first endeavor. Brave guys from Becej managed to reach the desired destination with 28 year old "yugo". However, traffic accident temporarily stopped this adventure spirit, on 50 km from the border with Kazakhstan.

These enthusiasts say that they believe yugo will make it back to Serbia and that they will be able to fulfill the goal of the adventure, helping Becej's home for abandoned animals.

In less than 30 days they managed to over Hungary, Slovakia, Poland, Ukraine, Belarus and Russia and to reach Mongolia. On the way to their destination the guys are leading a diary titled "Diary of Beckerek Mongolian" in which they report to their followers what is happening on the way to Mongolia. On 28 day they recorded:

"We headed 50 km from Ulan Bator to visit the monument of Genghis Khan. Monument erected in 2008, it is 40 meters tall and made from stainless steel. It is made from three floors and it is one of the biggest monuments in Mongolia. The legend says, that Gengis Khan found a golden whip in that place for his horse. We felt great that we finally reached this place and we did what we planned - "YES WE KHAN. GENGHIS KHAN!".

Guys had the opportunity to dress Mongolian wares in the museum, and they recorded these with videos and photos. Besides the sights they visited, Djordje and Ninoslav are especially amazed with people, especially with our people on this trip:

"Great thanks to Ivan Ivanov, man who has been doing business for 17 years on this areas. Milos, Ivan, Dzeki, Rade, Lazo and Vojkan, thank you very much! You can't understand what kind of seed you planted in us, and we will nurture it. We hope we will see each other soon, this time we will be hosts. Thank you from the heart. God be with you", written in the journal by young adventurers.

However, what the guys feared the most, is will the "Yugo" hold on the incredible 20.000 km. And when everything went to plan, and they prepared to go back, there was an accident.

"With music and talk what will we do when we get back in Serbia, kilometers of distance were reducing. On a road where the speed limit is 80 km/h, i drove 75. I notice a hole in front of me and i steer away from it, however, after that first one, there were two more even larger than the previous.

I didn't manage to steer yugo which was under full load and we literally dived into the second hole. Roof rack breaks and it hangs, exhaust splits into two, and back wheels are blocked and we go off the road. When we stopped, i ask Djole if he is alright. Seeing that he is holding his hand but he says he is ok, i realize that he is hurt but nothing serious.

I looked at the mirror and i saw my nose beading. Considering the size of it, its not so rare. Everything else was alright with us, written in the journal of Becej "Mongolians".

The exhaust broke because the belt was loose. They tightened the belt and they fixed the exhaust, but the roof was not good and without welding, they set it aside. Their yugo was in the hands of the experienced handyman Viktor:

- Victor and his right hand were already deep into work. We believe that every car mechanic knows how difficult it was what they intended to do. It takes a lot of innovation and handyman Viktor is an expert for that. To weld something, to hone, attach one end and pierce another.

On every little correction on the pole and its carriers, he checks how much it fits on the yugo - said Djordje and Ninoslav.

Believing in Viktor's capable hands, who built his own plane by putting in "Lada's" engine, guys from Becej were left with the home that their "Rino" as they call their yugo, will be ready to continue back to Serbia, to their birthplace Becej.
