Jagoda (64) escaped from her son and husband who tortured her: Now she lives in the ruins of a burnt house, without without electricity, water and food (PHOTO) (VIDEO)

There are no doors or windows on her house. She has no bed, while she sleeps she breathes in the stench of burned house. And this brave woman is always smiling

She had it all. Or at least she thought she had it. She worked in the health center and provided security to her family. That wasn't enough for them. She suffered abuse for a long time. Her husband and sun drug addicts harassed her. Jagoda Ilic (64) managed to escape domestic violence ten years ago. She escaped from everybody and she "settled" in the shack on the top of the hill in Umka. Since then she has been living with bare walls and she misses everything. Always alone, surrounded with wilderness, no doors, windows, furniture, without electricity and water. She is hungry most of the time with a trauma inflicted to her by family and neighborhood.

Experts entered the house that heats itself up in Trsic: The investigation was shrouded in mystery, and here's the report!

When a man suffers a great stress in life, it doesn't take much to live in peace with himself afterwards. The same goes with Jagoda. She welcomes us in front of the old dilapidated house with a smile, surrounded with fateful friends, dogs. They are barking without stop. And somehow i am glad because of that. At least she is safe.

- They protect me. I can't have better guards - she said.

Because of the windows i see around her, i feel a great pain in my stomach. And the great impotence. And Jagoda stopped smiling. I feel even worse.

She takes me in the house to show the conditions she lives in. She is missing doors and windows. Floor is missing. It is superfluous to speak about the furniture. The entire house smells like of soot and burn because Jagoda lives in a house which was caught by fire once.

Actually, she lives in what's left after the fire.

Alone.

- I love the sun very much, to be outside - she said from the outside. While i am breathing the fumes in complete darkness, at the noon, i understand why she prefers spending her days outside.

I am looking at something which was supposed to be bed,  but those are remains of two armchairs  and she made makeshift bed out of them. I am not sure, but its clear that you can't sleep on that.

I got a pillow yesterday. Imagine, new! For the firs time in 10 years i slept nicely - she adds from the outside again .

- It was terrible this winder. I felt like Siberia got into the rooms and it won't come out. While i slept, the snow fell in, stove didn't help me. I couldn't keep myself and the animals warm - remembers Jagoda while i notice fear for the upcoming winter.

Next to the bed, flowers in pots. The only life in dreary present, but also a sign that that the poor woman is yearns for happier future.

- Trash containers are not foreign for me. I fed from them for a long time. I did and so did my dogs. Hunger strikes us and we go at night, together. On rain and snow. They go with me, its easier somehow - said with her eyes down, adding that she is ashamed of everything.

Shame. Her.

On the only bright place in the house, i see a framed lonely photo. A young man who returned hope to Jagoda, showing that its not a shame being poor. Shame is not helping.

- I walked by and i saw her sitting on a log, next to fire. Sorrow and sadness was seen on her face and i couldn't stop thinking about it for days. I knew i had to do something - said Nikola Romcevic (25), and Jagoda already sees him as a son. Even though he is not. Even though she has a son she is ashamed of.

Nikola was in motion, but he also moved the people around him. He decided to gather enough money to rebuild the poor woman's house, but also to secure the living conditions evey man deserves.

- Jagoda is amazing, she has so much positive energy in her, she is trying to be happy and she is laughing all the time, despite being tortured by her family and life. I learned a lot from her about life. This story moved me and i know i can help her. Unfortunately, not alone - he adds.

A lot of acquaintances who want to donate construction material to patch her house, but there will also be some humanitarian evenings.

But, Jagoda needs literally everything, because she has nothing.

- Wardrobe, laundry, sheets, blankets, furniture, money, food, everything you need to survive the day. And if you have anything of that, old furniture that collects dusts, wardrobe you want to throw out, call and i will take you to her so you can give it to her or i will take it - said Nikola, carrying a lantern.

The room she sleeps in should be lightened at least a bit. But that is not the solution.
