A total of 1.5 million overnight stays were recorded in the first three months, which is a growth of 2 percent
In the first three months 525.544 tourists were in Serbia, which is a six percent more than the same period of the last year, announced by the Tourist organisation of Serbia (TOS).
Besides that, there were 291.115 domestic tourists which is 3 percent growth, while 234.429 foreign tourists visited Serbia from January to march, which is 10 percent more than the same period of the last year.
A total of 1.5 million overnight stays were recorded in the first three months, which is a growth of 2 percent.
From the chosen tourist places, domestic tourists spent the most time on Kopaonik, then Zlatibor, Tara and Belgrade in the period from January to March 2017.
Foreign tourists were the most in Belgrade, then Kopaonik, Novi Sad, Zlatibor, Vrnjacka Banja.
Tourists from Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Bulgaria, Russia spent the most nights in Serbia since January to March 2017.
