The finding of forensic psychiatric committee of the Medical Faculty in Novi Sad reached The Higher Court in Belgrade, which gave their expertise for the charged Teodora Viktorovic (40), made a unexpected twist in the procedure so far. It was determined that the actress committed double murder in "affective state", with "significantly reduced mental capacity", and that is why security measures were proposed as verdict - alcoholism treatment!

So far there have been two psychological and psychiatric evaluation of Teodora Vuktorovic, charged that she murdered her mother Ljiljana (61) and grandma Ivanka (90) with a meat chopper in March 2015. in her family home on Vracar. At the moment murder occurred, her 6 month old daughter was in the apartment, while her 4 year old son Petar was taken to kindergarten by his father. He called police and ambulance who took Teodora to Military Medical Academy, where it was determined that she had blood alcohol level of 3.6, but also greater amount of substance - tranquilizers.
When the expertise did not coincide, the court ordered super expertise, which is final. In 22 page report, it was stated that Teodora had "personality disorder" and she had "emotional instability".
- At the time the crime was committed, the accused was in a special affective state, under the influence of anger and rage, currently generated conflict, just before the delict - announced yesterday in the court. - She was treated for depression disorder and alcohol addiction. All of that had the influence on her physical state and behavior. Her ability to understand her actions and possibility to govern her acts, especially measurement of reasons for accepting the result of her actions, were substantially reduced.
Because of Teodora's alcohol addiction and other psychoactive substances, which are related with the double murder she committed, experts propose alcohol treatment.
The prosecution still did not receive the super expertise.
Teidira Viktorovic is charged of a murder which is punishable with 10 to 40 years of prison. Prosecution considers that she committed double murder with premeditation, and the defense says that she was not aware of that. Super experts want a safety measure.
According to the law, the safety measure is determined if the offender of the crime was "sentenced, got a suspended sentence, judicial admonition or was declared not guilty". The time spent in the security institution shall be included into prison punishment, written by "Novosti".
