Sale Djordjevic won't be coach of Serbia after Eurobasket: Svetislav Pesic revealed new findings from Bayern!
Serbia will have to look for new coach after the championship in Istanbul, because Djordjevic will commit to club basketball
European championship in Istanbul 2017 will be the last championship of Aleksandar Djordjevic where he will lead Serbia, according to Svetislav Pesic, who said that in the interview for Vice.
In an extensive interview, the famous Serbian coach also commented on Aleksandar Djordjevic, Serbia's coach of national team, but also BC Bayern coach, succeeding Svetislav Pesic, where his son Marko performs the role of the first operative of the team.
Pesic first described how Djordjevic was elected for coach, and later discovered his findings that he will commit to club basketball after the European championship in Istanbul.
- All of us are happy to have Sale as a coach with us. I know that he is happy to be in such a concept where he can develop even further as a coach. I think it can't be better for him. In the faze he is in, as a coach, that is ideal. We wanted to have a normal trainer, and when i said that i don't think the others were not normal, but we wanted a coach who had a marvelous career as a player behind him, and he showed that he can have great coaching career. All its up to him now is to fight - said Pesic.
People think that it is too demanding to be the coach of Bayer and the coach of national team, but the impression is that it helped him develop as a coach - was the question of a reporter that "opened" carry to present his findings.
- For Sasa its maybe good to coach both the club and the national team, but when he finishes the European Championship, as far as i know, he won't deal with National basketball anymore, only with Bayer - said Pesic, and he is still well informed into Bavarian work, where his son Marko is first operative of the club.
- He has the obligation to lead the national team to the European Championship and after that to deal with club basketball, which is quite normal. With this new system, its impossible to do both jobs - concluded Pesic.
