HE IS NOT GIVING UP: Thaci asks for formation of "Kosovo Army", but not over parliament
Thaci claims that he wants to go through all the constitutional changes, saying to Serbian representatives that Kosovo authorities won't give up from the army and that their opposition will be their "biggest mistake"
Kosovo President Hashim Thaci asked the President of Parliament Kadri Veseli not to put the bill on the transformation of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) as Kosovo's army in the agenda of the Assembly, noting that the process should be conducted under the constitutional changes.
Thaci: We will press charges against Serbia for genocide
- I sent a letter to Veseli today that not put draft law on the agenda , until our institutions and our strategic partners provide all the support to do it through constitutional changes - said Thaci at the meeting in Pristina where he spoke about the possibility of forming a Kosovo army, transmits RTS.
Thaci claims that he wants to go through all the constitutional changes, saying to Serbian representatives that Kosovo authorities won't give up from the army and that their opposition will be their "biggest mistake".
He says he will not allow blocking of the process of formation of the army, and RTS estimates that it is obvious that he gave up from the plan for the army to be formed only by the change of law.
