Dacic: Serbia predictable and stable partner in the region

Serbia has become a predictable and stable partner in the region, according to First Deputy Prime Minister Ivica Dacic, adding that today's meeting of Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic with German Chancellor Angela Merkel and visit Sarajevo tomorrow, speak about the trust that has been built in recent years.
EU RESPONDED SHARPLY TO PRISTINA: There is no army without the consent of the Serbs
- This is important news that Angela Merkel set aside time to meet with the Prime Minister, not hesitating to do so during the election campaign. This is about the trust that has been built in the last few years - said Dacic visiting the RTS.
He added that he witnessed Merkel's attitude towards the former President of Serbia, Boris Tadic, and that their last meeting was one of the most unpleasant meetings which Dacic attended.
- The reason for the interruption of correct relations with Serbia was that the authorities in Serbia promised something that did not come true. They have promised to respect the advisory opinion of the International Court of Justice, Tadic and Jeremic promised, and when it was finished they went the other way - said Dacic.
He added that Tadic promised to start conversation with Brussels and when Serbia received a status of a candidate for EU membership, they did not do it.
The European Union now has a credible partner in Serbia, because Serbian politics, he says, has become predictable.
Dacic says that each of the presidential candidates should make a statement regarding the problems in the region.
