As noted in a statement published on the website of the President of Kosovo, Trump said that the partnership between the US and Kosovo relies on shared values and interests.
The future of sovereign, multiethnic and democratic Kosovo is based on a stable Balkan region, prosperous and fully integrated into the international community, said Trump.
He added that he expects continued, broad and deep cooperation, focused on increasing support on democratic and economic development, strengthening the rule of law in Kosovo, the resolution of disputes with neighbors and the fight against violent extremism and foreign terrorist fighters .
