Sevnica is a small city on Sava river in middle Slovenia where Melania Trump spent her childhood, wife of a current American President Donald Trump. The residents of this place tried to draw attention to themselves since the beginning of Trump's candidacy to develop tourism.
After his win on the elections, this small 5.000 residents place have been often on the pages of papers, but also in various TV shows.
Citizens are very hospitable and they are gladly talking to the guests.
They will talk to you with a smile and they will want to know more about you, and when you ask them about Melanija, they will gladly talk about her.
Large number of cookies got its name after the firs lady.
"Kruhek" bakery is famous in the city and you have american apple pie for breakfast "First lady" there and it costs two euros.
Roman Krug, who works in the bakery, said that after Trump's win many tourists come to the city so the place became real tourist attraction.
You can visit Melania's school here, as well as other places she often went for 32 euros. At least 30 people are required for the tour and it lasts eight hours at least.
Besides visiting school, the price includes lunch, the visit to the castle Sevnica and a gift shop.
