In the second attempt, sniper hit him again and blew up his almost entire shoulder and lower jaw. Again thanks to the physical readiness, Vaso managed to survive and to recover
The greatest legend of Montenegro streets, boxer from Berane Vaso Pavicevic, was one of the tough guys who came to train under legendary wrestler and a coach Miroslav Citakovic. We remind you, popular Cita passed away 5 days ago, aged 80.
All tough boys went through his school, old crew Ljuba Zemunac, Zeljko Raznatovic Arkan, and new generations Aleksandar Knezevic Knele and Kristijan Golubovic, until today's boys.
Next to Vasa Pavicevic, Luka Djurovic went to the famous coach from Montenegro, he was going from Bar on evening train to catch the training in 8:30 in the morning.
Talented Pavicevic, from Pec, was known as a tough boy and a warrior. He was born in southern Serbian province, grew up in Bar, trained boxing in Montenegro and then in Belgrade.
He was regular in the training of famous Cita on Sava, where the famous coach of tough guys spent most of his time.
According to some thoughts, Cita's strong training saved Pavicevi's life twice.
- First time when he was returning from training. Two masked attackers shot a storm of bullets at him, 39 to be precise, and 9 ended up in the boxer's body, but he managed to survive - said the administrator of the Facebook page "The legends of the '90".
He adds that the next assassination attempt occurred one year later when he went to his club in Bar. While he was walking outside of his house, sniper shot him and blew up his almost entire shoulder and lower jaw. Again thanks to the physical readiness, Vaso managed to survive and to recover.
Third assassination was fatal and he did not manage to survive it. In yet unclear ambush, he was killed with his friend Joca Vujicic.
Huge number of various capsules were found on the site (around 60 to 100). This any bullets say that the murderers feared the two of them, so they shot to make sure they don't stay allive.
After this assassination, almost all people close to Vasa were professionally murdered in unsolved cases (it was said that the killer in some cases were the most payed hitman Voja Amerikanac).
