Lake in Bosnia disappeared in front of people's eyes (VIDEO)

By lowering the accumulation from the lake and with weak flow of new water, former lake was turned into muddy valley

Jablanicko Lake was created in 1953 by building the hydropower plants on the river Neretva. Artificial accumulation has changed the looks of fertile valleys.

This video shows Jablanicko Lake virtually DISAPPEARING: It was 30 km long, and not there is only dry bottom! (VIDEO)

With a length of 25 km and in some places the depth of 80 meters, it has attracted tourists from all over the world.

Very rich fish stocks was the lure for many fishermen.

By lowering the accumulation from the lake and with weak flow of new water, former lake was turned into muddy valley.

With the disappearance of water almost entire fish stocks disappeared as well.

- When we return in May we will see if anything of the fish survived in the lake - said local fishermen.
