- She was scared and lost when i saw her on the frozen lake "Laguna", she couldn't stand and she was often falling down while she tried to stand up with her thin legs" - said Marko Protic.

The sight that this young man saw in the heart of the lake in Banat's Veliko Selo near Kikinda was extraordinary.

- I go around the lake every day, so yesterday i went on a regular tour and control around the lake. Suddenly, i noticed her trying to get up from the frozen lake without any success. I didn't spend much time thinking, i ran to save her as soon as possible. In the mean time, i called a friend Marko Pilipovic, who came quickly and we managed to move her away from the ice - said the professional fisherman Protic.

He mentions that members of the Association and nature lovers "Laguna" take care about the lake, especially about the animal world.

- We break holes into the ice in the lake to give some oxygen to the fishes. The thickness of the ice is 40 centimeters on some places, and the deer was drawn by the land, so wondering she came to the lake and she couldn't move any further - he said.

By the way, lake "Laguna" was once a wild landfill, and thanks to the enthusiasm of the hard working people in Veliko Selo, this place presents a true oasis.

The members of the Association and nature lovers "Laguna" have been participating in actions of saving the fish in their oasis for years.
