Medical cannabis, once the law adapt its legal application, will be used on patients with malignant diseases, those with HIV / AIDS, multiple sclerosis and those suffering from certain forms of epilepsy
Commission for combating narcotic drugs in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) should soon be in session in order to state their opinion on the proposal for transfer of cannabis-based products from the group of illegal to the group of strictly controlled substances.
- The meeting should take place very soon, but one member of the Commission is on sick leave so is a matter of a technical nature. When conditions are gained, they will immediately hold a meeting where they will make a proposal that represents the first step in the process - explained for the Klix.ba the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- It is alleged that the proposition of the Commission is sent to the Ministry of Security, which then it forwards it to the Ministry Council of BiH, where the eventual adoption would he held, which is the final act. The Parliamentary Assembly of BiH does not have to take part when it comes to the transfer of substances from Table 1 to Table 2, based on the opinion of the Agency for Medicines.
According to the media, medical cannabis, once the law adapt its legal application, will be used on patients with malignant diseases, those with HIV / AIDS, multiple sclerosis and those suffering from certain forms of epilepsy.
