- For NATO those decisions and exercises are just fine. This is not a situation where we have to smooth some accounts. Serbia is a free and sovereign to choose security arrangements that suit it. On the other hand, I am glad that Serbia has decided to participate in the exercise in Montenegro. This is a very important exercise for all countries that participate - said Rose.
Military exercises will be held in Serbia until 9 November, military forces of Russia and Belarus will also participate, and will match the activities carried out by NATO forces in Montenegro.
Multinational exercise "Slavic brotherhood 2016", which started on Wednesday will be held at airports and training grounds of the Army of Serbia. It will be attended by 212 members of the airborne Army of the Armed Forces of Russia, 56 members of the Armed Forces of Belarus and the 450 members of the Army of Serbia, a goal of the exercise is to improve the operational capabilities for solving tactical and fire tasks to perform counter terrorism operations in a multinational environment.

At the same time, in Montenegro, military simulation exercises reactions in the flooded areas and ways of response to attacks with chemical weapons will be performed. They started on Monday and will last five days, 680 unarmed soldiers from seven NATO countries and ten partner countries will participate in them.
In a field exercise, sixteenth of this kind organized by the EADRCC, teams from neighboring countries are participating, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatian, Albania, Macedonia, Slovenia as well as the United States, Austria, Finland, Israel, Belgium, Spain, France , Denmark and the Czech Republic.
