RUSSIAN PARATROOPERS ARRIVED TO SERBIA: "Slavic brotherhood 2016" can begin

More than 150 Russian and 50 Belorussian paratroopers arrived to Serbia to participate in international military exercises "Slavic brotherhood 2016".
Paratroopers have landed at the airport in Batajnica in three Ilyushin Il-76 aircraft , noted in a statement of the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense, reports Tas.
- More than 150 military parachutists will represent Russia in international military exercises named "Slavic brotherhood in 2016".
Taking into account the specific nature and exercise plan, members of a separate reconnaissance battalion 98th Airborne Division were selected to participate in the exercises - announced earlier by that pres-service.

Multinational exercise "Slavic brotherhood 2016" will be carried out from 3 to 9 November at airports and training grounds of the Army of Serbia.
The aim of the exercise is to improve the operational capabilities for solving tactical and fire tasks to perform counter terrorisme operations in a multinational environment.
