The Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Veljko Odalovic said that the advertisement for hiring the intermediary agencies for the sale of five of diplomatic and consular representations of the former Yugoslavia, in Bonn, Berne, Tokyo and New York, with the apartment in Manhattan, will be announced in early November.

Odalovic said that the indicative the indicative value of these five facilities is approximately 74 million euros.
He told for the "Politika" hat the ad for selling these five diplomatic-consul branches which are in joined ownership of former republics of Federal Republic of Yugoslavia will be announced in the papers "Economist" and "Financial Times", and the deadline to give offers is 30 days.
The States successors shall, as he added, then have 50 days to notify the bidders of their decision to whom they entrust this job.
- After selecting the intermediary agency, it will undertake preparatory work, advertise and collect bids for individual objects and carry out the actual sale of the five real estate of the former Yugoslavia - said Odalovic, adding that the successor states in accordance with their own procedures have to give their consent and confirmation of final sale of each specific object.
Serbia, as previously stated, for these five facilities spends more than $ 600,000 a year just for maintenance.
According to him, it is ungrateful to think when will it all end, but it is in the interest of everybody for it to bee as soon as possible.
- I personally believe that at least part of the sales can be realized in the first half of next year - said Odalovic.
It costs around 74 million euros, and Serbia will have 39.6%, he pointed out.
