According to the Split municipal Court decision, the family of the man who broke his penis during sex is awarded with compensation and interest in total amount of 50.000 euros.

The man who asked for compensation had a life insurance from accidents that would active till 2025. He was insured on around 8.000 euros and on 50.000 conditional insurance in the case of permanent disability.
Four years after the man has signed the life insurance policy, he had an accident during sex where he broke his penis, and after treatment, he asked for compensation from his insurance company.
In the mean time he died in 2011, and after 10 years in total of going to Court, the decision was reached that his family should be payed the compensation of 25.000 euros, with interest on arrears so the total amount was 50.000 euros.
