The ambition of our presidency is to open three chapters: Chapter 5 (public procurement), Chapter 25 (science and research) and Chapter 26 (education and culture) - of course this can happen once all conditions are met and when all member states agree on the opening of the chapters, Goldirova said.

The Slovak EU Presidency told Tanjug Serbia was on the right track and that its hard work in the accession process was beginning to produce results.

Progress on Chapters 23 and 24 and the process of normalisation of relations with Pristina is something that work is underway on at this time, but it is also the key to further progress, Goldirova explained.
