Great day for Serbian athletes on Paralympics in Rio - four medals in only four hours! and even two gold and two bronze.

Athletes who worthily represented our country were Mitar Palikuca, Borislava Pekic - Rankovic, Nada Matic and Laslo Suranji.
Palikuca was the first to start the wave with the bronze on the Table Tennis, after defeating Norwegian Tommy Orhuag 3:1 (4:11, 14:12, 11:6, 11:9).
Borislava was next, she went one step further than she was in Beijing. After silver medal four years ago, she took gold. Serbian triumphed after great fight and five sets (11:4, 6:11, 7:11, 11:3, 11:6) against the Chinese Miao Chang.
While Borislava was celebrating, Nada Matic was fighting for bronze and she managed to win it. In a third place match she made up the two sets and won over the British Sue Gilroy 3:2 (12:14, 8:11, 11:8, 11:6, 11:6). Interesting, the two held hands while our national anthem played.
The circle was closed by Laslo Suranji. He won the gold medal in the discipline 50 meter small-caliber rifle three positions in the category of SH1. In addition, he made a result if 453.7 laps, which is the new record in Paralympic games.
