Hundreds of criminals work during the tourists season on the Adriatic sea coast and they use diverse methods to get their prey.
Namely, in Sparadici, 49 year old man from Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) entered the unlocked apartment of family home where he stole a wallet with personal documents and money from 77 year old guest from Germany.
The thief was caught red handed by the 52 year old German and the owner of the apartment, and his friend, who waited for him in BMW with BiH licence plates, stepped on the scene.
That 42 year old, also the BiH citizen, introduced to the apartment owner and her German guest as a policeman and told them he will further direct the thief to the police station.
However, when this couple headed towards Primosten, the apartment owner called the police, so the police officials stopped them quickly and arrested them on the highway towards Primosten, and found the stolen wallet with them, reported by the Croatian media.
Against them, the Sibenik police filed criminal charges for the criminal offense of theft, and against the 42-year-old criminal charges were filed for unauthorized performance of the police service.
