Dilaver Dema, from the village Konjare, explains that its a herd of wild boars and a bear which destroyed their crops of wheat and vegetables, and villagers have their hands tied up
Wild beasts, "using" Macedonian laws, have literally left the crops desolate in few border villages at Debra near Macedonian - Albanian border.
Dilaver Dema, from the village Konjare, explains that its a herd of wild boars and a bear which destroyed their crops of wheat and vegetables, and villagers have their hands tied up.
- The bear is protected by the law, and we can't kill other wild life because it is not hunting season. If we do not do something, all of our effort will go to waste said Dema.
He hopes that the Major Debra Ruzdi Ljata and the Chief of Border Police of the region Dzelal Ljata will help the locals from the villages Spas, Selokuci, Sulan and Konjare, near the Albanian border. They promised to take appropriate measures to protect their crops from the wild beasts, which luckily, did not attack people.
