Current world record in running marathons are 52 marathons in 52 days

Goran Nikolic from Kragujevac will break the world Guinness record in running repeatedly marathons on the relation Kragujevac - Oslo. That information was overshadowed by the fact that he sees only 5% on one eye, but that doesn't stop him to beat current result.

He said that the sprint is the fastest, and marathon the best. Current world record in running marathons are 52 marathons in 52 days.

Goran is actively preparing to run 55 marathons in 55 days, which is 3 days and three marathons more then what is recorded in this discipline. He will run half-marathon each day, 22 kilometers.

Goran has run twice around the planet Earth. The planet.

His wish is that with the strength of his own muscles, capacity of his own lungs and the strength of his willpower, promoting the most demanding extreme way sports, creative and intellectual potentials, the person of impaired vision calls: institutions, companies, foundations and finance organizations to support him as a sponsor or donor.

He will invest the resources in building and furnishing one or two mini camps for blind and children with impaired vision and youth. 

This hero of Serbia, despite his disability, decided that healthy life is his choice. Telegraf staff wishes him good luck and lots of success on his journey!
