WELL DONE MIHAIL DUDAS: Serbian won a medal on European championship in athletics!
Bronze in decathlon shined on the chest of Serbian athlete.
Serbian decathlon athlete Mihail Dudas won bronze medal on the European Championship, after managing to save his third position won in the former disciplines after the 1.500 race!
Serbian referee Mazic is not judging the Euro final!
In the last discipline he scored the time 4:30.90 which is the best time in the season and he ended the competition with 8.185 points, only four points away from silver.
The gold medal was won by Tomas Van Der Platsen from Belgium, silver by Adam Helselet, while Serbian athlete had Ukrainian Oleksej Kasjanov behind his back.
- I am thrilled. I am the king of bronze medals. I won bronze on World junior championship on 2008. and then on the European championship for younger seniors in 2009 and 2011, then in Indoor Championships in Geteborg 2013. This is my fifth bronze medal, and it was hard to get it. The competition was really tiresome, but i managed, and i accomplished my goal. I only have to win the World bronze now - said Dudas.

100 meter race, the young 26 year old Dudas finished in 10.9 seconds which was third best time and brought the Serbian 883 points.
Than there was long jump and with 920 points (7.44 meters jump) Dudas saved his third position.
Discipline shot put was shortly going well for Dudas, who was shortly in the lead with the points, but with the score 14.24m he was third and won 743 points. High jump was the best for him with the score of the season (2.01) and gave him the second place in the general ranking after 4 disciplines.
By the end of the day one, Dudas competed in the 400 m race which he finished in 49.45 seconds. That was enough to remain second.
He "slipped" of the silver after the pole vault, and the fifth position in 110 meter hurdles brought him new 905 points, and later, in disc throw, Serbian representative was second in his group (45.65m) and with 780 came to a total of 5884 points.
In pole vault he won 819 points, after jumping 4.70. He threw the spear 58.19 meters. Right before the last discipline he had 70 points more than the forth place Ukranian Kasjanov, and 53 lass than the second place Czech Helselet.
Tomas Van Der Platsen was inviolable in the first place and he remained there until the end.
