People of Novi Sad honored again the air force major, who died in the rescue mission.
Omer Mehic died during the fall of the military helicopter which crashed not far from the Nikola Tesla airport during the rescue mission. In the mission, six people lost their lives and 5 days old baby.
In the tragedy, the five days old baby from the major Omer Mehic, Captain Milovan Djukaric, Ensigns Nebojska Drajic and Ivan Miladinovic, anesthesiologist Dzevad Ljajic and technician Miroslav Veselinovic from Novi Pazar lost their lives.
