Serbia is working on Chapters 25 and 26, aligning opinions and holding discussions with the European Commission to ensure they are opened soon, Chief Negotiator Tanja Miscevic said on Thursday.
At the opening of the 26th annual conference of the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE) in Belgrade, Miscevic said the chapters deal with science, research, education and culture, noting they are opened and closed at the same time, with negotiations on them being very brief.

However, the issue of education is woven into many chapters - education for industrial development will be a topic of Chapter 20, for example, on which we are are seriously working as well, Miscevic added.
Education is also an important part of Chapter 27, which relates to the issue of environmental protection, as we have to think about prospective professionals who will put in place the things we are negotiating about, the chief negotiator said.
