An ex-boyfriend of a girl from Zemun decided to send her 101 brooms for International Women's day instead of 101 rose!
The man not to blame was the courier Ivan T. who was supposed to deliver the package.
When he reached the market, the courier thought that the brooms were for someone who works on the market.
- I got the delivery, I called the person and said that I had a package. A girl responded. I thought that the brooms were for someone working in a shop. But, when I reached the destination, the girl showed up. She asked me what was she supposed to do with it, and I told her that I don't know - said Ivan T.
She suspected on her ex-boyfriend and decided to call him right away.
When she asked him what to do with all these brooms, he replied - "Gee, I do not know, hop on one and go away".
The whole street and the market was jammed with brooms while the girl was rushing to organize how to get them out.
- She was not mad, she was laughing all the time, not believing what had happened, and they definitely made my day. I suggested that she could sell them - said Ivan T., laughing.
