They warned that in the later period there may come to a rise in the number of cases.

- The patient was 51 years old, and he had no data of ever being treated for a chronic disease and he did not have the flu shot - it was stated at the Institute of Public Health.

In the Center for medical microbiology of the Institute, PCR diagnostics confirmed the presence of flu virus A with 16 patients, concluded with February 15.

This virus was tested and it came positive about the sub-class A/H1N1 pdm09.

It was added that the number of cases is expected to rise due to maladies with similar symptoms.

- We have registered 70 people, with incidence of 1,1/100.000 residents. The highest number of people are in the age group of 25-64 years.

The trend of flu cases is impossible to predict so the doctors from the Institute warned that the number of cases can go even higher, reported Montenegrin media.

- We have to say once again that the best prevention is the vaccination process, so it is our recommendation that all the people who are in greater risk of complications should get their shots. The vaccine can be taken at any time during the flu season, even when the virus is spreading in the surrounding - it was stated in the Institute.
