CANNABIS SALE IN CROATIA FROM MARCH: Price range drastically lower than on black market

The price, according to the media in Croatia, will be drastically lower than what is paid on black market

From march this year, people will be able to buy jelly capsules with cannabis oil in state pharmacies in 5 mg dosage, but the final price has not been verified, and it will depend on pharmaceutical network - report Croatian media.

The price range, according to them, will be drastically lower than the one paid on the black market.

For example, a month dosage of resin or cannabis oil goes up to 2000-2500 Euro.

In the pharmacies, the price will be 10% lower.

- We still do not have the final price, because of transportation costs and the margin the pharmacies will put on the product, but for a month dosage the price could go from 130-195 Euro. Of course, only if one has a prescription - says Dr Nevenka Kovač, the director of the Immunology institute.

This institute is in the last stages of finalizing the contract with a Canadian supplier who accepted some changes in the contract.

Parallel on that, Croatian government is working on permits and fulfilling all the conditions which are very strict, because it is a psychoactive drug.

One of the conditions is the security of preserving the substance given, which is a task for Croatian agency for medicines and medical products (CAMMP).

First, small dosages will be imported, only with oil extract in capsules, not THC in drops or for inhaling, reports Večernji list news agency.
