All the time I was shooting in front of the USA embassy in the city of Sarajevo I was hoping that the SWAT team will come out because I wanted them to be my targets - said Mevlid Jašarević in the story that shocked everyone

- My biggest mistake was to have fired the shots too quickly. All the time I was shooting in front of the USA embassy in the city of Sarajevo I was hoping that the SWAT team will come out because I wanted them to be my targets. I was not satisfied with my account that day because I injured only one police officer - said Jašarević in the TV show "Napadanja", the author Admir Cvrčanin, which was showed on the Cinema TV station in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
For an hour and a half, he spoke plainly and without remorse about his preparations for the attack, the action in Sarajevo, the court, and the 15-year-imprisonement sentence he got in the prison "Zenica".
- I was preparing for the attack in the village of Donja Maoča where I lived with my wife and son. No one of my brothers talked me into this, or helped me, the idea was solely mine. The house was full of weapons, every Muslim has to be well armed. I practiced shooting along with my brothers in our village but the constant hum of the helicopters flying over our Wahhabi colony in Bosnia gave us problems - says Jašarević.
It is interesting to notice that Jašarević showed up on court shaved, that he renounced his brothers and Wahhabi in Maoča, claiming that it was better for him to think about his son than about Afghanistan.
During the trial he apologized to the family of the wounded officer Mirsad Velić, the citizens of Sarajevo, and the staff of the USA embassy.
However, as soon as he was sentenced to imprisonment, he came back to his Wahhabi ideology, and his Islamic lifestyle.
Jašarević was born in the city of Novi Pazar where he grew up.
Wahhabi roads took him first to Vienna, and then to the village of Donja Maoča.
He used to visit his hometown very often where he was the guest of his brothers and Abida Podbićanin in mesjid "Furkan", notorious as the recruitment center of the ISIL fighters.
