Despite Bojović being in a difficult health condition,  lives of a young medicine technician Nikola Bešević and a driver Branko Veljović were also jeopardized because they had an accident while trying to reach Bojović  for the first time - reports Blic news agency.

- We started with our car Lada Niva to reach the patient as soon we were informed that the road was cleared. However, on the road between villages Međureč and Bratljevo due to temperature below zero, the road was covered in ice and we literally dropped off the road into a ditch. We had to go back because we could not go any further - says Bešević.

Radivoje Bojović had help from four of his neighbors who used stretchers to transport him to the village of Kovilje.

They carried him two kilometers while fighting with snow and ice.

Then the news came that the medicine workers could not come due to the accident.

Going back was impossible, they had no strength nor conditions to do that.

Bojović was placed in a nearby house, and the Emergency service people started again, this time with the help from police and the snow machine.

- We took shovels, tire chains, and we had the support from the police and road cleaning services. We went into the night full of uncertainty. Of course, it was not all the same, but in those moments you do not think about anything else but to reach the patient and help him -  says Nikola Bešević.

Radivoje Bojović needed urgent help, and because of these brave people, he got it in the end.

The crucial thing was the humane moment, when impossible becomes possible.

All together, with the temperature of -15 C, under heavy snow, they managed to save a human life.
